PKU

Here Simone demonstrates the PKU on Camden! (Don't worry, they're both just play-acting!) The PKU test is required by every state in the country. It is performed shortly after the baby is born and, if follow-up testing is necessary, generally it is performed before the infant begins to walk or even toddle. Once the baby is on his or her feet, blood cannot be taken from the heel.
